Very nice coffee shop nestled into the outskirts of Huntertown. Outstanding sandwiches, drinks and sweets. They feature Old Crowne coffee. Also, for one sandwich they have a three week rotation. One week is curry chicken salad (my favorite) then egg salad and finally ham salad. Their scones are delicious as well. Mine went from scone to s'gone in no time flat.
Finding the perfect daily coffee spot is tough, but when you do find it, it becomes an extension of your home and it's bliss. Natalie gets my order started and knows if I'm having a good day before I even walk all the way through the door. I'm a vegan and I eye their masterpieces of sweet treats every day and they all notice. I wanted a grammie, so badly. I tried to find the recipe on my own and when I couldn't, they told me it was a secret family recipe that used buttermilk and I died a little inside. Today, Kara and Alana surprised me with my very own vegan lemon grammies and I'm telling you, they need to be packaged and sold in every grocery store in the world. They made vegan buttermilk to substitute, and all. I'm in heaven. This place is the shiznit! Faster and way more flavorful than Starbucks with that warm charm you won't find in any franchised corporate entity. Totally worth the steps and the time of getting out of your car, I promise.
This is my fav place to eat and get my coffee when I visit my grandchildren. My grands also love to get snacks and food there plus the younger ones like to read the books, get a game or color. This past winter, Well Grounded, provided a break from sitting in the house. The gluten free options help a lot too since three of them have sensitivity to gluten. The owner does a great job supporting other community businesses and agencies. At Christmas time, she gets books donated and sells items very cheaply. I have been able to buy some of these items the last few years to help some families who don’t have money to get gifts for their children. The free books meant so much to them. The owner is very attentive and it is a wonderful place to sit and relax in.
Coming to you this morning from Well Grounded coffee in Huntertown today. It's in the strip right by Lima road. They have a deal where you can get any breakfast sandwich with brewed coffee for a bargain price. Perfect for me since I usually get a brewed coffee and a little something to eat when I'm trying a new place. I had the sausage, egg, pepperjack sandwich on a bagel. It was wrapped in foil, so if you have to get it to go, it should still be warm when you get wherever you are going. The attached menu shows that they do offer some salads and other lunch choices. The bleu apple pecan salad sounds like a winner. I'll have to come get one soon. They have 2 full storefronts here. The main side has the kitchen and a really cozy seating area by the door. The other side usually has a kids corner, which is all packed up right now (COVID). They hold painting classes over here a couple times a week. They also offer the open side up for people to rent for private parties, so if you have a graduation or birthday party, it might be the space for you. They are happy to have you call in your order and they will bring it right to your car if you prefer that type of service. Natalie (manager) told me about some of the ways they offer extra stuff here besides just the coffee. I can tell she really cares deeply about he business and wants it to grow. It’s super cozy, it’s a total community gem. The ladies were so sweet and nice, as was my first time into the restaurant. I loved the slaw as ‘garden mix’ it paired great with panini. If you you’re a non-corporate, chain cafe person; go here.

Staff wonderful! Atmosphere great for meeting a friend, group of friends, and kids. Love that there are crafts, games, books, puzzles for families to enjoy! Great selection of amazing food and drinks. Locally owned and a business that supports the community.
I called and ordered sandwiches and smoothies for the team. Picked them up and took them to work. Huge hit! Delicious and I love to support local businesses when possible. I also love their little artisan area up front where local people can sell their goods. They even had dog treats!
